The 11th PTTEP English Training Programme for English Teachers in Primary Schools 2025This year marks the 11th collaboration between PTTEP and NUIC to organize the PTTEP English Training for primary school teachers. The goal of the training is to equip the teachers with new teaching techniques and to foster practical innovations and related media that can be effectively used with children in their classrooms. This event will take place from March 26 to March 28, 2025. PTTEP has generously provided a budget of 350,000 baht to NUIC to facilitate training for 69 primary school English teachers from three provinces: Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, and Kampheng Phet.The event commenced with a warm welcome speech from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watana Padgate, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Naresuan University, followed by an opening speech by Mrs. Ing-Orn Soisuwan, Manager, Public Affairs Section, PTT Exploration and Production Public Co., Ltd. Ms. Angkana Sriwantaneeyakul, Public Affairs Section Officer, provided insights into the objectives of the project.NUIC executives, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirimas Hengrasmee, Director of NUIC; Assoc. Prof. Sasima Charoenkit, Ph.D., Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Research, and Asst. Prof. Pudit Ngourangsi, Deputy Director for Administration, extended a warm welcome to all the participants.The speakers and topics during this three-day event are as follows:1. “Communicative Teaching in Grammar” by Mr. Christopher James Cook, lecturer of English for Business Communication (EBC);2. “Teaching Reading and Writing for Students” by Dr. Don August G. Delgado, lecturer of English for Business Communication (EBC);3. “Active Learning in English Teaching” by Dr. Eugenia Arazo Boa, lecturer of International Human Resource Management and Development (IHRMD);4. “Teaching Phonics and Phonetics to Kids” by Ms. Sopit Jenpradab, lecturer of English for Business Communication (EBC);5. “Teaching Listening and Speaking Techniques” by Dr. Satip Kuesoongnern, lecturer of English for Business Communication (EBC); and6. “Technology Integration in English Language Teaching and Learning” by Assist. Prof. Pornthep Katchamat, lecturer of English for Business Communication (EBC).NUIC expresses sincere gratitude to PTTEP for its invaluable support, which enabled the successful execution of this important training initiative.
